Lori and Caleb's Wedding... First Baptist Church, Malvern, AR...

This afternoon Amber and I traveled to Malvern, AR to shoot
Lori and Caleb's wedding at First Baptist Church. It was definitely a hot
day in Arkansas!





I thought this was a cool shot because of the Alpha Omega.... that brings back
college memories of my MBSF guys... we called ourselves alpha omega...





I love this little sequence Amber got of Lori's dad seeing her for the first
time today!







Lori and Caleb both were super excited to see one another!

right about here is where Lori started rolling with emotion... and I hate to admit but I was too... her dad's speech was very touching and all I could think about was my little Cooper Grace... only 20 or so more years and this will be her!!! OMG!

Jeffrey & Shelcy's Wedding

Last night Amber and I shot the wedding of Jeffrey and Shelcy in El Dorado, AR at the First United Methodist Church. The reception was held at the LakeView House just outside of town. The wedding was so much fun... Shelcy and Jeffrey are the sweetest people in the world and I wish them the best! God Bless!

Mandy & John's Wedding...

This past weekend Amber and I headed to Johnsville, Ar for a super wedding. The wedding took place at a Calvary church in Johnsville. It has been standing for over 150 years and I cant imagine how much tradition and how many wedding have taken place there. I am honored to be part of it now... the reception was at the home of Mandy's parents and it was great. Thanks for having us guys! God bless!

 

Ryan and Rebecca Copico... First Baptist, Monticello, AR...

This weekend we had the honor of shooting the wedding for two of our great friends. They are both such amazing people and come from amazing families. This whole weekend has just been a blast! Congratulations guys and thanks for letting us be part of your wedding! God bless!

Lets start this off with a few shots from the rehearsal dinner... the
decorations were very fancy and the food was spectacular and the evening was
full of Filipino traditions... it was so much fun.

The bride and groom got blind folded and had to lead each other to a pot full of
cash... the idea was to bust it open.  Ryan tried to be cute and mislead
Rebecca and looked like he got kinda close to the business end of a Louisville
Slugger.





The rain cleared away early Saturday morning and the clear blue sky peaked
through for a beautiful ceremony!

We called in the sure firing Michele Roberts to help us on this wedding! 
She has such a great eye for details... I love this shot she grabbed...

forming just to get in!

Zac & Lauren's Wedding... Bearden, Arkansas

Yesterday Amber and I traveled down to First Baptist in Bearden, AR to shoot Zac and Lauren's wedding. It was a lot of fun because Zac and Lauren are super cool and super photogenic... I had a lot of friends and even some family there too! It was a great day. Both families were a blast to be around and they just had an awesome day! Congratulations guys and God bless!

definitely not the best exposed photo in the world... but my philosophy is to capture the moment first then worry about getting everything perfect. I love the emotion between lauren and her dad right after the ceremony. Then zac and zac's dad looking on is just an added bonus to this picture.

Clay & Chasity's Wedding...

Well we are about half way through our 7 Saturday marathon of weddings! We have been so blessed to work with such amazing couples so far this year! This just makes our job so enjoyable. This saturday was no different... even a little special twist on this one because Clay is a cousin of mine. It is always fun to see fimiliar faces... especially family at weddings and receptions. Their wedding was at First United Methodist in Monroe, LA and it was beautiful. The reception was at a totally awesome place that I hope to visit again possibly for a bridal session in downtown Monroe called Austin's on the River. We got some killer images in and around Austins! Adam & Heather's Wedding...

This past weekend Amber and I shot the wedding of Adam and Heather at Immanuel Baptist Church here in Monticello, AR. The reception was just up the road at the Monticello Country Club. It was a blast... the wedding was great... food was good... and the party was hoppin!

Carter Wedding!

This past Saturday Amber and I made a flying trip up to Jonesboro, AR to shoot the wedding of Josh and Maryanne. The wedding was beautiful and the reception was a blast. The church street station was a very fun location for a reception. Have fun in Mexico guys! God bless!

Mid April Catch Up...

So i have been being a bad blogger... I think sub consciously I have been slacking, "hibernating" on purpose to prepare for the prime of wedding season. It is here. Next week we start a 8 week marathon so the blog will be hopping for the next couple months for sure. I have a variety of images here to recap over the last week or so. First off... I got a new "tool" last week. I have been coveting over this particular lens for a while and finally bit the big bullet and bought it. It is somewhat magical I think... Amber makes fun of me when I talk about my lenses as family members. She must have liked its appearance as well... she snuck outside and snapped a few shots of me and Cooper mowing the lawn. This is our afternoon hobby... she loves it and would sit in my lap for hours. More about the lens... isnt that background just mystical! Then the next few are from Dane's 16th birthday. Although there are zero images of Dane... we did snap a few of Cooper riding her Aunt Melinda's horse and Kade's John Deere Gator. She cannot steer... hence Amber's white legs chasing her down! Ill be in trouble for that comment! Then I got another new "tool" in today. I got a high tech contraption to clean the sensor's of my cameras. In the past I have been spooked by this... the sensor makes up the majority of the cost of the camera... so in the past I have always sent my cameras in to Canon for cleaning. So since I had my gear out... I snapped a few of Cooper in her pj's just to make sure my camera stil worked after I serviced it! It appears to work great! Then next we ran in the Go 5k! for Autism Research. And i mean "WE" ran... Amber and I pushed Cooper in her stroller. We didnt break any speed barriers but we did finish and Cooper actually placed 3rd out of 3 in the 0-14 girls division! She got her first medal! She even had her picture in the newspaper this week. And last but certainly not least... I wanted to share a few shots of Tasha Green... we shot these bridals for her a few weeks ago and her and Adam recently married. I think bridals at the lake may turn into a popular location this year! they turned out so good. Thats all my rambling for now... God bless!

Yesterday Amber and I drove down to Parkers Chapel First Baptist Church to shoot Lynn and David's wedding. It was a beautiful day and the wedding could not have went any better.

Amber grabbed this shot and I thought it was hilarious... this is Lynn working all the huge light switches to the sanctuary... I was afraid to touch those monster breakers!

Danna & Matt's Slideshow!

Here is a slideshow I threw together for Danna and Matt... the song is hot off the press and awesome. Matthew West wrote a killer song for a lucky couple on klove radio.

Matt and Danna's wedding...

Last night Amber and I had the privilege to shoot the wedding of Matt and Danna. It was great to get back in the swing of things and knock the dust off the camera gear. It has been a great little sabbatical... but now its time to get serious again! The wedding was absolutely amazing and was filled with genuine emotion, love for each other, and love for Christ. I felt very blessed to be a part of this ceremony.





Matt kept us entertained with emotion all day. He was ecstatic to see Danna for the first time.




Matt is a full time fireman for the El Dorado Fire Department and this is the truck he drives... the crew swung by the church actually coming back from a fire for us to snap a few shots...

The kids kept us entertained during the ceremony...






Right after the wedding we snuck out to catch some tasty light... You would have thought we planned the day around this light! If you want great shots... plan your wedding to end about 30-45 minutes before sunset!











Matt's father had a very touching speech at the reception...




And of course they left in the fire truck! Sirens blasting and all!!!
