Cooper has big news for everyone... She got accepted as a 2T model for the Baby Gassy Gooma clothing line! We had her first shoot this past week and she did a great job and let me and Amber get some great shots of her and the clothes! We sent the company somewhere around 200 pictures!!! Cooper may have just started her career!!! God bless everyone and have a great weekend.
Can you believe my little baby girl turned 2 this
weekend!!! We have had a whirlwind of the last 3 years from moving
to buying our first home to finding out we were going to blessed with Cooper to
all the laughs and tears and screams and good times that goes along with a 2
year old! Michele hooked Cooper up with her awesome "Dora the
Explorer" themed birthday cake.

This afternoon Amber and I traveled to Malvern, AR to shoot
Lori and Caleb's wedding at First Baptist Church. It was definitely a hot
day in Arkansas!
I thought this was a cool shot because of the Alpha Omega.... that brings back
college memories of my MBSF guys... we called ourselves alpha omega...
I love this little sequence Amber got of Lori's dad seeing her for the first
time today!

Nate and Natalie had their third birthday bash this weekend! They had a pool party at my dad's house. They are both so funny... Nate was so cool in his shades... the food was awesome thanks to two great chefs! the cake was awesome thanks to Michele... the pictures are great thanks to Amber... she took about 90% probably... and on another note... I cant praise this little rebel xti enough... it is such a super camera. anytime anyone asks what small camera they need.... I without hesitation recommend it. it wasnt until about 8:30ish where the iso had to be bumped up and the grain started becoming noticeable... my 5d would have excelled then... but until then I would much rather use the xti around all the water! one last note... what does everyone think of the new logo...

Well after being rained/stormed/lightning'ed out for the past two days... I was able to sneak in an engagement session with Trey and Kaley this afternoon. The weather was fabulous... other than hot! These two were great to work with and I think they had fun during the pictures.... I had to be careful what I told these two to do... because they would not hesitate and dive in head first to whatever... at one point I thought they were going to jump in the lake! This past weekend I ran up to Little Rock to meet up with these two to shoot their engagement pictures. We had a lot of fun beating the heat and walking through downtown shooting the pictures. Last night Amber and I shot the wedding of Jeffrey and Shelcy in El Dorado, AR at the First United Methodist Church. The reception was held at the LakeView House just outside of town. The wedding was so much fun... Shelcy and Jeffrey are the sweetest people in the world and I wish them the best! God Bless!
Some friends of ours... the Rickett's brought their fresh little bundle of joy over last night for some newborn photos. I do not do a lot of this type photography but I could easily get used to it... it was so much fun seeing just how incredibly excited they both were as new parents! Also, I keep hearing little comments over and over that usually go something like... I sure wish you took family photos... or seniors... or etc... we absolutely do! Although we primarily do weddings... we would be thrilled to shoot any type of portaiture for you. This past weekend Amber and I headed to Johnsville, Ar for a super wedding. The wedding took place at a Calvary church in Johnsville. It has been standing for over 150 years and I cant imagine how much tradition and how many wedding have taken place there. I am honored to be part of it now... the reception was at the home of Mandy's parents and it was great. Thanks for having us guys! God bless!

full of Filipino traditions... it was so much fun.

Yesterday Amber and I traveled down to First Baptist in Bearden, AR to shoot Zac and Lauren's wedding. It was a lot of fun because Zac and Lauren are super cool and super photogenic... definitely not the best exposed photo in the world... but my philosophy is to capture the moment first then worry about getting everything perfect. I love the emotion between lauren and her dad right after the ceremony. Then zac and zac's dad looking on is just an added bonus to this picture.

Well we are about half way through our 7 Saturday marathon of weddings! We have been so blessed to work with such amazing couples so far this year! This just makes our job so enjoyable. This saturday was no different... even a little special twist on this one because Clay is a cousin of mine. It is always fun to see fimiliar faces... especially family at weddings and receptions. Their wedding was at First United Methodist in Monroe, LA and it was beautiful. The reception was at a totally awesome place that I hope to visit again possibly for a bridal session in downtown Monroe called Austin's on the River. We got some killer images in and around Austins! This afternoon I had the pleasure and honor of shooting Cade Newton's first photo session... I guess it was mostly of mommy and daddy... but he was definitely the main attraction. We went out to a new perspective on an old location and rocked it out. Since the session was so awesome... I decided to go with a little flare on some of the images. Contrary to popular belief I spend very little time on images in photoshop. Most of the images from tonight... as Jeff was watching he would say... "are you not even gonna open that one in photoshop!" but I have found this new love for textures... So I added it in on a few. Although it's not for everyone... I like em... and I think most everyone likes it every now and then.
