Last week the kiddos came by to have their */*/* Third Birthday*\*\* photos taken! I cannot believe how fast our little kids are growing up! They are going to turn 3 at the end of the month and Cooper will be turning 2 next month! Wow! They all look so cute! Cooper wasnt really prepared or dressed for the red/yellow theme... so we will stick to black and white of the group shot!

The Rickett's
Some friends of ours... the Rickett's brought their fresh little bundle of joy over last night for some newborn photos. I do not do a lot of this type photography but I could easily get used to it... it was so much fun seeing just how incredibly excited they both were as new parents! We had a blast waiting on Kensley to get ready for all her shots... Congratulations guys on the beginning of parenthood! Press play on the photo and enjoy... make sure your speakers are on!
Also, I keep hearing little comments over and over that usually go something like... I sure wish you took family photos... or seniors... or etc... we absolutely do! Although we primarily do weddings... we would be thrilled to shoot any type of portaiture for you. In fact I have plans of launching a completely separate website for portraits in the very near future! God bless!

Mandy & John's Wedding...
6.24.2008
This past weekend Amber and I headed to Johnsville, Ar for a super wedding. The wedding took place at a Calvary church in Johnsville. It has been standing for over 150 years and I cant imagine how much tradition and how many wedding have taken place there. I am honored to be part of it now... the reception was at the home of Mandy's parents and it was great. Thanks for having us guys! God bless!

Ryan and Rebecca Copico... First Baptist, Monticello, AR...
6.15.2008
This weekend we had the honor of shooting the wedding for two of our great friends. They are both such amazing people and come from amazing families. This whole weekend has just been a blast! Congratulations guys and thanks for letting us be part of your wedding! God bless!
Lets start this off with a few shots from the rehearsal dinner... the
decorations were very fancy and the food was spectacular and the evening was
full of Filipino traditions... it was so much fun.

Mr. Akin was roasting Ryan just a bit...
The Filipino dance was awesome...
Ryan was not too good at it!
The bride and groom got blind folded and had to lead each other to a pot full of
cash... the idea was to bust it open. Ryan tried to be cute and mislead
Rebecca and looked like he got kinda close to the business end of a Louisville
Slugger.

The rain cleared away early Saturday morning and the clear blue sky peaked
through for a beautiful ceremony!

First peek of the groom...
I loved this moment... the first thing they did on their wedding day was pray
together!
they were so much fun!

We called in the sure firing Michele Roberts to help us on this wedding!
She has such a great eye for details... I love this shot she grabbed...
Between her and Amber holding things down... my job was super easy!

Definitely the event of the day... there was quite a crowd and some kind of line
forming just to get in!

Last moment together before walking down the aisle...

The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff's Choir was in attendance and provided
some amazing vocals!

Priceless!

The reception was so beautiful...

3 guys and a huge cake!

R-E-S-P-E-C-T!

Clear blue sky on a beautiful night and an amazing reception.

These last few are from the bridal session a few weeks prior to the wedding...

Zac & Lauren's Wedding... Bearden, Arkansas
6.08.2008
Yesterday Amber and I traveled down to First Baptist in Bearden, AR to shoot Zac and Lauren's wedding. It was a lot of fun because Zac and Lauren are super cool and super photogenic... I had a lot of friends and even some family there too! It was a great day. Both families were a blast to be around and they just had an awesome day! Congratulations guys and God bless!

i love this first meeting shot...

it was cool that my cousin jeff was the best man... i have never seen him in a tie... much less a tux.

that looked like a good spot for all the petals...

dropping flower petals is tough work and requires a little nap during the wedding!

definitely not the best exposed photo in the world... but my philosophy is to capture the moment first then worry about getting everything perfect. I love the emotion between lauren and her dad right after the ceremony. Then zac and zac's dad looking on is just an added bonus to this picture.

hilarious speech about no more softball for zac! is lauren sticking her tongue out at zac?
2 beautiful friends of mine in attendance... i have a great shot of alisha getting smoked by bird seed by the bride... but she would kill me if i posted it. but great retalliation lauren!

** edited to add some of lauren's bridal pics from a few weeks earlier! they were nothing short of amazing!
